During this unprecedented time of personal isolation, family and tribe separations and business shutdowns it may appear that you have a lifetime of work ahead when this COVID-19 curve goes flat. And doors begin to open again.

What are you doing, mentally, physically and emotionally to have your exit strategy in place? And, your Regeneration action plan funded and launched?

  • How is my physical health?
  • What have I learned to do for me that is really self-care?
  • How have I learned to cope in mostly positive ways?
  • Where have I looked for and found people who support my emotional equilibrium?
  • What am I learning? How do I feel about the unknown that’s coming directly at me?

Pause for just a moment and really feel this.

Now, get creative and be willing to see you in a way you have not seen you before.

  • Willing to face change and to embrace it
  • Deploying, daily, that new positive attitude you build and practices in isolation.
  • Asking for what you want.
  • Prepared to enable and help others get what they need and want.
  • Laughing and smiling at every opportunity. Grateful for all that you are and have.

You are now standing in the bright sunshine and seeing people move in many directions. So?

Here are key guidelines that will likely help you see this new reality. Look! Learn! DO!

Regeneration has a “to the core” new meaning when it comes to your relationships that are unfolding on your daily horizon. No need to be preachy here. Just let yourself figure out that it’s who you have in your life and not what you have that determines your quality of life.

  • Make sure you have thoroughly scouted the NEW business ecosystem landscape.
  • Make a list of “strong and weak” contacts you need to connect with. Schedule them.
  • Ask for AID – advice, insights and direct introductions.
  • Make a map or spreadsheet to track you progress (or frustrations).
  • Celebrate progress. Shoot for interviews or trial projects or gig assignments. Adapt.

Choose wisely my friend! Then nurture your connections and be grateful each day counting each person as one of your many blessings. Go for it!
